MOE Kindergarten @ First Toa Payoh (Opening in 2019)

The registration for 2019 K1 admissions is open to Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident children born between 2 January 2014 and 1 January 2015, both dates inclusive. Parents can only register with one MOE Kindergarten.

Parents who have registered during the registration exercise on 24 and 26 February 2018 or 3 and 5 March 2018 will be notified of the registration outcome by 25 April 2018. Parents may contact the respective MOE Kindergartens to enquire if they did not receive the registration outcome by 25 April 2018.

Applications submitted after the Registration Exercise

Applications submitted after the registration exercise will only be considered after all applications submitted during the registration exercise have been processed. Interested applicants will be placed on the wait-list and will be informed when the vacancy arise.

Parents who are interested and would like to register in MK@FTPP may submit an application directly at the school’s General Office. 

Documents Required for Registration

Parents will need to produce both the originals and photocopies of the relevant documents at the point of registration. No registration fee is required.

  1. The child's Birth Certificate
  2. The child's Singapore Citizenship Certificate for those who are not Singapore Citizens at the time of birth
  3. Singapore NRIC of both parents or Entry Permit/Re-entry Permits of parents if they do not possess Singapore NRIC

Additional documents required for priority admission based on household-income:

  1. Parents' latest income statement or a letter from their employer certifying their income
  2. Birth certificate of sibling(s) if any
  3. Parent's birth certificate and NRIC of grandparent(s) if grandparent(s) of child is/are residing at the same residential address

Singapore Permanent Resident

  1. The child's Birth Certificate
  2. The child's Entry/Re-entry Permit
  3. Singapore NRIC of both parents or Entry Permit/Re-entry Permits of parents if they do not possess Singapore NRIC

If parents are unable to personally submit the registration form and photocopies of the relevant documents, they may authorise another person (using the MOE Kindergarten registration authorisation form) to submit the documents on their behalf.

KCare operates from 7am – 7pm on Mondays to Fridays, including school holidays. The Kindergarten Care centres close for up to 6 days each year, in addition to gazetted public holidays. MOE Kindergarten and Kindergarten Care centre closure dates will be co-ordinated to ensure that they coincide as far as possible.
